David Pidgeon is a freelance writer and journalist based in Bristol. A former editor of business title The Media Leader, he holds a Masters Degree in English Literature, loves writing short stories, and has just completed his first novel.
David has travelled extensively around the world with a backpack and tent, and has a particular passion for rock climbing. Whether ascending Scottish sea stacks, spending six months on a dedicated sport climbing trip across Europe, or bouldering in his beloved Peak District, David has lost the skin on his fingertips many times over.
Joining as part of the support team, the ARG’s 2023 expedition to Recherchefjord was David’s first trip with the group, and his first time in the region. David took on the leading role in the Pingo project and secured delivery of the research work with passion.
