Polish dumplings connoisseur currently living in Berlin, archaeologist and passionate geophysicist.
Wioleta has worked in the field for more than 10 years, mostly in Germany, Spain and the Balkans, and has spent some time in Lebanon, Mozambique and the US as well. She got weirdly attracted to the topics of settlement in difficult climate conditions after her trip to North Alaska where she participated archaeological camping in Walakpka.
Wioleta has been studying master program in Geodesy and Geoinformation Science at Technical University and working for geophysics company in Berlin, focussing her interests into Machine Learning for Remote Sensing data. Wioleta was planning to join the Arctic Research Group 2023 expedition to test field techniques of geodetic data collection while documenting archaeological and historical settlements in Spitsbergen. Unfortunately, Wioleta was unable to join the expedition for personal reasons and it is hoped that she will join a future expedition.
